Genda's Funeral
Funeral service is at Chelmsford Crematorium South Chapel on Wednesday 28th February 2024 at 11:30 am
For those that cannot join the congregation there will be a webcast available at

For those that cannot join us at the time of the funeral this web cast recording will be available for 28 days after the funeral at the same address.

Dementia gone now - no broken bones - I like to believe that you are back to your old normal self - feisty, funny, intelligent, staunchly independent - my old mum back - love you and miss you J x

A month ago we had a mother.
Not the mother we wanted and can vividly remember but the remnants of that mother.
As a friend going through the same thing said a “different” mother
One who was vulnerable, weak, tired, and ever so sleepy.
Cared for and loved by so many people and encouraged to enjoy her life.
But when the Life and Times of Genda are remembered they are a beacon for us all.
Hurting no more. Sleep well mum.
